A full sew-in weave with Virgin OR raw hair, would need approximately 8 to 10 ounces of hair. We recommend buying 3 bundles of hair for lengths 14” to 20”. We recommend 3-5 bundles for lengths 20″or longer. Each bundles weighs 3. 5 ounces. Keep in mind that since the hair is sold by total weight the rule is: “The longer the hair, the shorter the weft.”
CAN MY EXTENSIONS BE COLORED?
100% RAW/ VIRGIN human hair that has not been processed is not processed in anyway. You can color the hair, however once Virgin hair is treated in any way, it is no longer virgin. Be sure to keep color treated hair conditioned and moisturized.
RAW vs VIRGIN
Raw hair comes from a single donor, no bundles of raw hair will ever be identical. texture is a very natural wave or loose curl. raw hair will come with a little frizz as it is untouched and just went through a cleansing process. Virgin hair can be from one to two donors, cuticles are still aligned. Unlike Raw hair, virgin bundles will come with a more uniformed texture that can be identical due to undergoing steam treatment for the texture pattern. Virgin hair will also have a more luster shine to the hair.
HOW LONG DOES THIS HAIR LAST?
Raw hair can last for a long time, the better you take GOOD care of it the longer you can have it and reuse! Our clients generally use Raw hair for 3-5 years. Virgin hair for 1-2 years.
